This collection symbolizes the intrinsic journey of creativity through manipulated self-portraits. Merging the artist's adult self with candid childhood innocence, the images metaphorically depict the playful interplay catalyzing raw ideas into conceptual forms. Artist inviting viewers to reconnect with their inner child, fostering an environment where curiosity and wonder flourish, giving birth to innovative expressions.
"The creative adult is the child who survived."
– Ursula K. Le Guin
This collection originated as an assignment for the debut issue of an Italian creative magazine while I was at Fabrica in 2002. This body of work was later adopted as the key visual for Fabrica's annual workshop poster, as well as 'Wanted Creativity' spread published in Colors magazine and Jaffa magazine.
"Creativity is intelligence having fun."
- Albert Einstein
