25 years in 10 minutes
Greetings, stranger!
While my full portfolio remains a work in progress, here’s a brief glimpse into my creations. I've picked four examples from each category, with at least one fresh addition for good measure. This should take no more than 10 minutes of your valuable time.

Who am I?
It’s complex.
In a word, I am—Maker.
To be brief—Artist, Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Animator.
To be clear—I’ve held roles as Creative Director, Art Director, and Director, primarily in advertising and visual communication.
To be honest—I haven’t fully defined myself. I’m fluid. Beyond the titles, I’ve delved into programming, AI, 3D, generative art, fine art, music, short film, photography, automation, strategy, content creation, UI/UX, electronics, writing, game engines, and more. My drive to explore new realms of creative expression knows no bounds.
Logo and Brand Identity
Logo design stands as one of the purest expressions of graphic design—and among the most profoundly responsible. I’ve crafted nearly 100 logos and marks, earning awards and recognition at industry events, with my work featured in prestigious international publications like LogoLounge and Tres Logos.

Art / Social Commentary
Personal Project: "Stand with Ukraine" – A visceral reaction to the 2022 Russian invasion, this collection fuses the grit of street art with sharp social commentary. Textured black-and-white illustrations juxtapose innocence and violence, revealing the stark realities of war through haunting symbols. Distilling months of rage and anguish, these works serve as a rallying cry to bear witness and resist oppression. Full Project >>>

Posters
Posters—one of my favorite forms of graphic design—provide an unmatched freedom of expression, unlike conventional advertising graphics. As a former aspiring film director, my passion for the film industry runs deep. While I haven’t directed a full feature film (yet :), I’m eager to make my mark within the intricate niche of the broader film production process. A successful movie poster is a harmonious blend of design, storytelling, and marketing; when crafted with care, it becomes a powerful tool to spark interest and shape audience expectations.

Motion
Moving images are my lifelong passion—Direction, Animation, Motion Graphics, 3D, Stop Motion, Kinetic Typography, you name it. Each showreel below is unique; for a richer insight into my work, I invite you to explore both.
Print Advertising
Print advertising remains a powerful medium, engaging audiences with its tactile, lasting impact. The interplay of color, composition, and layout is crucial, guiding the viewer’s eye and evoking emotions that reinforce brand messages. Through thoughtful design, print ads transform simple visuals into compelling, memorable narratives.

SKILLS
Core Competencies
- Art Direction & Graphic Design: Adept at crafting visually striking designs, with a proven ability to deliver cohesive visual solutions that align with client goals. As Art Director I favor a hands-on approach, developing key concepts and visuals myself, then brief my creative team on how to adapt them across various implementations and media, rather than merely overseeing or directing processes.
- Animation & Direction: Proficient across platforms for dynamic visual storytelling, actively involved in editing, animating, and shaping the entire production process from concept to final cut.
- Illustration: Recognized for a unique collage technique, yet versatile across styles and mediums.
- Creative Direction: Experienced in ideation, presentation, and seamless project management with diverse creative teams.
Tool Proficiency
- Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign, and more.
- 3D: Blender, Unity.
- AI: Image-based primarily with Midjourney, ComfyUI; text and code with tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and local Ollama models. Experienced in automating workflows by integrating models with Python.
- Numerous others.
Language Skills
- Programming: Fundamentals in Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS/JS.
- Languages: English, Latvian, Russian (conversational).
