Finally I can announce release of second poster, identity & packaging for documentary “Working Class Ballet”.

Another book & DVD containing my animation and illustrations is out. As a visual essay focusing on dreams, the imagination, the surreal and the divine, Wonderland builds on the success of last year’s Romantik. The book is a stunning collection of the very latest inspiring and surprising fashion photography, graphic design, illustration and fine art from around the world. Wonderland features the work of the following artists: Gints Apsits, Vault 49, Marco Cibola, Lobo, Taobot / Danny Franzreb, Erwin Olaf, and others.

Twin towers crashed week before I left Riga in order to go to Fabrica (Italy) trial. I was ordered to make social commentary on this issue. Collection of visuals came out in a book "Visions of Change".  Down there you will find my contribution: "Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. " Isaac Asimov

International Sweet Onion Film Festival takes place in Walla Walla, WA U.S.A. My short animation “Ministry Messiah” got two awards in Music Video category: Best Director & Best Music video.

I was invited to contribute to Colors 49th issue – Tours 2002. Like with all other Colors covered themes this wasn't usual travel guide either. Since I made photo reportage of mental hospital in summer 2001 in my hometown - I got some pictures to propose.

Just now, by browsing internet, by accident, by finding some picture, I have been awarded with knowledge that my illustrations has staged by the Centre Pompidou in France. Ok. I don’t mind. : )

The fourth volume in the best-selling LogoLounge series provides 2,000 totally new logos from leading designers worldwide. I just bought this book in J.Rozes you can have it from Amazon . Nice book. Buy it. Read it. Be inspired. If you will be careful enough you will find there some of my work too.

My short animation Ministry Messiah got Grand Prix in video art festival Waterpieces (Udensgabali) in Riga. Award was damn heavy metal bottle with water „pieces” inside of it. It was about 4-5kg (heavy enough to kill a president).

I was obsessed with India and their historic culture when I was young … like George Harrison was (I guess he is dead by now). I was reading India, I was listening it, smelling it, I vegetarian’ating my body for ten-something years with it. I even got 2 VHS tapes with Indian hard-to-watch mythological movies. For me as European they where like Tarantino in violence and most merry-jane’ish fairy-tales ever, but they were (kind of) for REAL, they where even considered educational.

This is poster i made for documentary film: "Working Class Ballet" (Directed by Robert Vinovsky). In next few days i will finish another poster version for same film, as well as identity and motion graphic head DVD.

AnimWatch – online magazine hunting for excellence in animation features interview about Ministry Messiah. It’s sweet to be interviewed in one line with creators for such a big and respectable projects as Madagascar from Dreamworks, Robots from 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studio, academy award nominate The Triplets of Belleville … etc. My massive thanks to Steve Ogden for this interview, as it letting me understand myself a little bit deeper.

Just after premiere in Fabrica Cinema short animated film The Bonedancer have been featured in Creative Review magazine & DVD 5 „Time”.

Quite a long time I was out of news writing. Ye shit. But still I had good reason. „Diesel and Kessels Kramer” that’s the best combination you can ever get.
